You could hand copy the "Kontakt Factory Library" folder from your Windows install, but you'd need a big portable drive to hold the 23.3 GB of data. I'm wondering, could I use the Windows download somehow, and port it over to Linux? then run the command? That would save me about 7 hours time, since my download speeds are crappy. I did so overnight, but this morning was greeted with the message that it failed to install the iso image. So I apparently need to do a fresh download. I tried to get the library into Kontakt other ways, but all I succeeded in doing was to load the samples into the database, but they only work in demo mode. It installed fine on Windows, and I was able to hear the sounds, and am very happy with them. This is especially addressed to Glennbo! What command did you use to get around the iso problem? that is where it failed.
